If the orange charging light does not appear or the hearing aids are not holding a charge, these steps will help identify the issue.

Charging base indicator is not lighting up

  • Adapter is not powered: Make sure the USB cable is fully plugged into both the charging base and a working power source.
  • Hearing aids are not seated correctly: Remove the hearing aids and reinsert them into the correct slots (left in the left slot, right in the right slot). The charging contacts must align.
  • Charging contacts are dirty: Clean the contacts on both the hearing aids and the charging base with a dry cloth.
  • USB cable is not connected properly: Check that the cable is securely connected at both ends. Try a different USB power adapter if available.

Hearing aids are not holding a charge

  • Make sure the hearing aids are turned off before placing them in the charging base. The switch should be in the OFF position.
  • Allow a full charge cycle — the indicator light turns green when charging is complete.
  • If battery life has decreased significantly over time, contact Ceretone Support for assistance.
