Regular cleaning and proper care help your Core One Pro sound clearer and last longer.
Cleaning steps
- Place the hearing aid in the charger or power it off before cleaning.
- Wipe the outside of the hearing aid with a soft, dry cloth.
- Remove the ear tip or dome if possible and clean away visible wax or debris.
- Use the cleaning brush or tool from your kit to gently clear the sound outlet. Do not push debris deeper into the device.
- Let all parts dry completely before reassembling and wearing the hearing aid again.
Storage & handling
- Do not drop your hearing aids or knock them against hard surfaces.
- Do not swim, shower, or use a sauna while wearing the hearing aids.
- Never rinse or submerge the hearing aids or charging case in water, as this can block sound openings or damage electronic components.
- Always remove your hearing aids when using hair care products such as hairspray or gel.
- Store your devices in a clean, dry location when not in use, away from high heat and high humidity, and out of reach of children.
- Inspect the hearing aids, eartips, and charging case regularly, and remove earwax and debris using the included cleaning tools.
What to avoid
- Do not rinse the hearing aid under water or use alcohol directly on the electronics.
- Do not use sharp tools or household objects to remove earwax from the device.
- Do not attempt to dry the hearing aids or charging case in an oven, microwave, or other heating equipment.
- Do not clean the devices with water, solvents, or cleaning fluids.
Tip: If the sound still seems weak after cleaning, replace the ear tip or check for a blocked wax guard if your model uses one.
