If your Essential feels loose, whistles, or sounds blocked, a fresh ear tip may help.
Your Essential uses replaceable ear tips so you can get a better seal and more comfortable fit.
- Hold the hearing aid steady with one hand.
- Gently pull the old ear tip straight off. Avoid twisting hard enough to damage the receiver or tubing.
- Wipe the end of the hearing aid clean before attaching the new tip.
- Push the new ear tip on firmly until it feels secure.
- Give the tip a gentle tug to make sure it is fully attached before wearing the hearing aid.
Fit tips
- Try a different size if the current tip feels uncomfortable, slips out, or causes feedback.
- Many users need a different ear-tip size in each ear.
