See a doctor if you have any of the following:
- Sudden hearing loss or a recent major change in hearing
- Pain, discomfort, or drainage from the ear
- Severe dizziness or spinning sensation
- A lot of earwax or concern that something is in the ear
- Worse hearing in one ear
- Ringing in only one ear
- A birth defect, injury, or unusual shape of the ear
These symptoms may need medical evaluation before you use OTC hearing aids.
