Whistling or feedback is usually caused by fit or blockage issues. Common causes include:
- The hearing aid is not inserted correctly
- The eartip size is too small or too loose
- The eartip is broken or clogged
- Your hand or another object is too close to the hearing aid
- Earwax is blocking the ear canal
Try reinserting the hearing aid, changing the eartip size, replacing damaged eartips, and cleaning away visible debris. If you have a lot of earwax, contact a medical professional.
