Torch produces no sound or sounds weak and fuzzy

If your Torch is silent, very quiet, or sounds muffled, one of the common causes below is usually to blame.

No sound at all

  • Hearing aids not activated: Make sure you have completed first-time activation by plugging the charging case into power and placing the hearing aids inside until the blue light appears.
  • Low battery: Place the hearing aids in the charging case. A blue light confirms charging; a white light means fully charged.
  • Microphone blocked: Clean debris or earwax from the microphone opening using the included cleaning brush.

Sound is weak or fuzzy

  • Volume too low: Short-press the multi-function button to raise the volume level.
  • Microphone or sound outlet blocked: Clean the microphone and sound outlet using the included cleaning brush or cleaning stick.
  • Ear tip blocked: Remove the ear tip and check for wax buildup. Replace the ear tip if it is clogged or damaged.

Persistent whistling or feedback

  • Reinsert the hearing aid to ensure it is seated properly in your ear.
  • Try a different ear-tip size (XL, L, M, or S) to get a better seal.
  • Move away from objects close to your ear (such as a phone or hat).
