If your Torch is silent, very quiet, or sounds muffled, one of the common causes below is usually to blame.
No sound at all
- Hearing aids not activated: Make sure you have completed first-time activation by plugging the charging case into power and placing the hearing aids inside until the blue light appears.
- Low battery: Place the hearing aids in the charging case. A blue light confirms charging; a white light means fully charged.
- Microphone blocked: Clean debris or earwax from the microphone opening using the included cleaning brush.
Sound is weak or fuzzy
- Volume too low: Short-press the multi-function button to raise the volume level.
- Microphone or sound outlet blocked: Clean the microphone and sound outlet using the included cleaning brush or cleaning stick.
- Ear tip blocked: Remove the ear tip and check for wax buildup. Replace the ear tip if it is clogged or damaged.
Persistent whistling or feedback
- Reinsert the hearing aid to ensure it is seated properly in your ear.
- Try a different ear-tip size (XL, L, M, or S) to get a better seal.
- Move away from objects close to your ear (such as a phone or hat).
