Proper storage and regular maintenance help your Torch perform reliably and last longer.
Cleaning the ear tips
- Remove any earwax buildup from the ear tip using the included cleaning stick.
- Wipe the ear tip clean with a tissue or soft cloth.
- Replace ear tips every 3 to 6 months, or sooner if they become stiff, brittle, or discolored.
Cleaning the hearing aids
- Use a soft cloth or tissue to wipe away any moisture, perspiration, or debris from the surface of the hearing aid.
- Use the included cleaning brush to gently clear the microphone and sound outlet openings.
- Inspect and clean the charging contacts on the hearing aids and inside the case regularly using a dry cloth.
What to avoid
- Do not rinse the hearing aids or case under water.
- Do not use alcohol, water, solvents, or cleaning fluids directly on the hearing aids — these can damage the protective coating.
- Do not use sharp tools to remove earwax — this can push debris deeper or damage the device.
- Do not use a microwave, oven, or electronic dryer to dry the hearing aids or case.
- Do not drop or knock the hearing aids against hard surfaces.
Storing your Torch
- Always store the hearing aids in the charging case when not in use.
- Keep the case in a cool, dry location — avoid extreme heat, cold, humidity, or vibration.
- If you will not be using the hearing aids for an extended period (up to 6 months), make sure they are fully charged before storing.
