How to use the tinnitus masking program on your Torch

Your Torch includes a built-in Tinnitus Masking program that plays a gentle sound to help reduce the perception of ringing in your ears.

Activating tinnitus masking

1. Press and hold the multi-function button for about 3 seconds to cycle through hearing programs.
2. Continue pressing until you hear the voice prompt "Tinnitus Masking" — this is Program Five.
3. The program will begin playing immediately.

Important usage guidelines

• Use the Tinnitus Masking program for no more than 30 minutes at a time.
• Do not use it more than 3 times per day.
• Tinnitus Masking is intended to provide relief, not to treat or cure tinnitus. See your physician for further tinnitus evaluation and treatment.

Switching back to a regular program

1. Press and hold the multi-function button for about 3 seconds.
2. Listen for the voice prompt and continue pressing until you reach your preferred program (Normal, Restaurant, Outdoor, or Music).
