It depends on the state of your shipping address. In some U.S. states, sales tax is required on hearing aids, while others only tax accessories, warranty extensions, or loss and damage coverage. Some states don't require sales tax at all. If you return your hearing aids for a refund, any applicable sales tax will be refunded as well.
