How to store and care for your Fusion

Proper storage protects your Fusion from damage and extends its lifespan.

Storage guidelines

  • Always store your hearing aids in the charging case when not in use.
  • Do not expose the devices or case to extreme heat or cold, or to high-humidity environments.
  • Avoid dropping the hearing aids or knocking them against hard surfaces.
  • Do not store in environments above 55°C or below -10°C. Operating humidity: 30%–75%rh.
  • Fully charge the hearing aids before storing for extended periods. Do not store them uncharged for more than six months.

Cleaning the hearing aids

  • Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth or tissue to remove moisture, perspiration, or debris.
  • Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solvents, as these can damage the protective coating.
  • Do not rinse or submerge the hearing aids in water.

Cleaning the ear tips

  • Remove earwax buildup from the ear tips using the enclosed cleaning tool or a soft cloth.
  • Clean the charging contacts on the hearing aids and case regularly to ensure reliable charging.

Things to avoid

  • Do not use sharp tools to dislodge earwax. Inserting household objects can seriously damage the device.
  • Do not swim, shower, or use a sauna while wearing the hearing aids.
  • Do not attempt to dry the hearing aids in an oven, microwave, or other heating appliance.
  • Do not use an electronic dryer to dry the hearing aids.
  • Keep away from children.
